For the first Let's Get Lit! Book Club conversation of 2021, I chose to revisit Brené Brown’s nearly decade-old bestseller because it felt like the right follow up from December's Big Magic to keep the momentum flowing. In this episode, we explore Daring Greatly's themes of courage and vulnerability and discuss how to determine what matters and what's just noise in the big picture of our lives; we share favorite quotes and key takeaways from the book; and I open up about how Daring Greatly helped me to stop the harmful approval-seeking and people-pleasing that held me back and compromised my own wellbeing. Regular weekly segments include Quote of the Week, Moment of Joy, an amazing Charity Beneficiary, and themed Trivia.
